Arguably the most enigmatic signing of the summer was the New York Knicks’ acquisition of Mindaugas Kuzminskas. Kuzminskas had interest from the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers, but at the last moment, Phil Jackson swooped in to sign him.
Many are still wondering what Kuzminskas will bring to New York, but there’s one thing they don’t need to wonder about: he wants to play for the Knicks.
At 26 years of age, Kuzminskas has already made a name for himself in Lithuania and Spain. This will be his first opportunity to play in the NBA, but overseas, he’s a well-known and respected player.
