Knicks: Mike D’Antoni Praises Kristaps Porzingis

Since firing Jeff Van Gundy in 2011, the New York Knicks have been unable to keep a head coach for any extended period of time. Over that 15-year period, New York has been led by 15 head coaches, include Herb Williams, who held interim and full-time positions that were separated by Lenny Wilkens‘ brief tenure.

The man who had the longest lasting tenure—a whopping 268 games—was Mike D’Antoni.

D’Antoni, now an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers, is one of the most revolutionary offensive minds in NBA history.
