Knicks Media Roundup: Trade proposals, the Boston model, and coach’s contract

Recently, Bleacher Report proposed two trades the Knicks could make this summer.

In one of the theoretical deals, the Miami Heat would receive New York’s 24th and 25th picks in the upcoming Draft; the Knicks would get back the 15th pick and Los Angeles Lakers’ 2026 second-round pick.

The logic here? Miami faces salary cap challenges and potential tensions over Jimmy Butler’s contract extension. They could trade their 15th pick for two first-rounders to bolster their rotation with cost-effective players.
