WASHINGTON — When Knicks coach David Fizdale found out recently the club would have to stay over in D.C. after their first preseason game because of Westchester Airport construction, he sought to make the most of the experience.
Fizdale arranged for the club to visit Washington’s iconic Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The Knicks, off their preseason win over the Wizards Monday, were headed Tuesday to the iconic spot that provides medical assistant to 150,000 soldiers.
