Knicks lose as the RJ Barrett point-guard plan flops again

ORLANDO, Fla. —– It didn’t work. Again.

With the Knicks all but out of point guards, Knicks coach David Fizdale threw a curveball again — rather, a screwball — in the Magic Kingdom. His starting backcourt featured RJ Barrett at point guard and Wayne Ellington at shooting guard, bypassing 2017 lottery pick Frank Ntilikina.

It particularly failed Fizale at the outset of the second half, and the Knicks failed to string together consecutive wins with a 95-83 loss Wednesday to the Magic at Amway Center. Clearly, these were two teams that have not found their strides offensively.
