Citing LeBron James’ rare knack for chase-down blocks, Knicks coach David Fizdale said rookie shooting guard Allonzo Trier is on the radar for making the 15-man roster.
The undrafted Trier is now on a two-way G-League contract, meaning he can only spend a maximum 45 days with the Knicks and the rest with Westchester. However, the clock stops after the G-League regular season ends in early April.
“Maybe, maybe,” Fizdale said of his chances of making the team. “He’s good, man. He’s a good player.
