Kyle O’Quinn said Friday that he didn’t need a loan from agent Andy Miller and he didn’t ask for one.
The Knicks center’s name surfaced in the FBI’s investigation into NCAA corruption when Yahoo! Sports published some documents from the discovery phase of the probe. One document taken from a trove collected from Miller’s ASM agency includes a list of loans to players. It reads that O’Quinn was loaned $1,887.06. Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead appears on the list as having received a loan of $26,136.
O’Quinn was asked if Miller gave him the loan while he was attending Norfolk State and replied he had not.
