The Leon Rose era will begin with a familiar face as the Knicks have decided to retain Scott Perry as general manager.

The Knicks confirmed that Perry will remain with a statement from team president Leon Rose.

“Scott is a well-respected basketball executive who I have known for more than 20 years, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him as we look to build a winning team in New York," Rose said.

While the season remains in limbo right now, the Knicks needed to make a decision on Perry with a mutual option set to trigger on May 1.
