Leon Rose hasn’t even officially become the Knicks president yet, and already the CAA super-agent’s job just became a little harder.
One of the stars some speculated he could land, client Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves, seems to be more optimistic about his future in Minnesota.
The New Jersey native, who the Knicks were hoping to trade for this offseason, was reunited Thursday night with close friend and former Net D’Angelo Russell.
“I think with D-Lo here, it’s always going to be a big incentive for me to want to stay,” Towns told The Athletic.
