For almost two years now New York Knicks’ fans have been debating whether or not their team should have selected Dennis Smith Jr. instead of Frank Nilikina in the 2018 NBA Draft.
With news reports of the Dallas Mavericks shopping Smith, it might make sense for the Knicks to make a move for him with Ntilikina’s confidence down as he continues to show any improvement compared to his rookie season.
So far there haven’t been any reports of the Knicks contacting the Mavs right now about Smith, but they did prior to the start of the season, according to Marc Berman of the NY Post.
