The New York Knicks are set to welcome back Jalen Brunson against Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns to start the new year.
The team announced Brunson’s availability less than an hour before Monday’s matinee 3 p.m. tipoff.
Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News was first on the news.
Earlier the Knicks also announced that veteran guard Derrick Rose would sit out with a contused left knee. The 34-year-old Rose has returned to the rotation in the past three games after Brunson and RJ Barrett went down with injuries.
Barrett remains out with a lacerated right index finger with Obi Toppin (non-displaced fracture right fibula head).
