MINNEAPOLIS — The Timberwolves were without their two young stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins — which gave the Knicks a golden opportunity to snap a five-game losing streak Sunday.
But as Knicks owner James Dolan has said previously, the Knicks have no stars and were pummeled anyway, 103-92, at Target Center, to drop their sixth straight game to begin a three-game road trip.
The Knicks could not crack 100 points. They were as cold as the Minnesota snow lying outside for three quarters when they mounted just 65 points.
