Knicks get good Frank Ntilikina news but one rookie still out

Modal Trigger

Frank Ntilikina

Frank Ntilikina’s sprained left ankle is trending in the right direction.

After missing the past three games, the French point guard may be active Sunday against the 76ers at the Garden after taking part in Saturday’s practice.

“There’s a chance,” Knicks coach David Fizdale said. “He played some two-on-two, some three-on-three. He’s cutting. He’s moving. I think the trainers are going to see how it responds after all of this and then we’ll make a decision.”

Ntilikina is being listed as questionable for the game. The other injured youngster, center Mitchell Robinson, however, will remain out with a groin injury.
