Knicks’ free-agent signings: Which of the seven newcomers has been worth it?

CHICAGO — Knicks president Steve Mills and GM Scott Perry brazenly stated in their unprecedented postgame press conference after Sunday’s loss to the Cavaliers that their roster is better than a 2-8 record after 10 games.

According to a source, Mills and Perry felt good about their Plan B in signing seven players they felt would be in the rotation — with Marcus Morris being the last, gravy addition. The money to sign Morris opened when Reggie Bullock failed his physical and needed spinal fusion surgery, cancelling out his two-year, $21 million deal.

“Scott and Steve and their scouts signed seven players they really liked,’’ one NBA source familiar with the Knicks’ thinking said before the season opener.
