The New York Knicks are coming home from the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery in Chicago with the No. 3 overall pick.
In missing out on the top pick, the Knicks won’t have a shot at Duke phenom Zion Williamson. They instead will get to pick from a slew of talented players that include Murray State guard Ja Morant, Williamson’s Duke teammate RJ Barrett, Vaderbilt’s Darius Garland and Virginia forward De’Andre Hunter.
The Knicks, who finished with a league-worst 17-65 record, had a 14% chance to win the top pick, tied for the highest odds with the Suns and Cavaliers, and were guaranteed a top-five selection.
