Knicks erasing another facet of Phil Jackson’s master plan

Phil Jackson’s triangle will no longer be associated with the Knicks and neither will West Point.

The Knicks have ditched West Point as their training-camp site, according to multiple sources, after a three-year run that was marked with controversy last October.

West Point was the brainchild of Jackson, who took the team to the picturesque fort in the hills of Orange County during his failed reign. What seemed like a terrific idea never materialized into victories as the Knicks emerged from the United States Military Academy sessions with records of 17-65, 32-50 and 31-51.

Though not official, multiple sources said president Steve Mills will keep it simple and have the club train in late September at its Tarrytown campus.
