As the clock ticked down to halftime, Quincy Acy attempted one last shot up top to try to reduce the Nets’ deficit to the teens. He eluded Jarrett Jack — but not Enes Kanter, who blocked the attempt a blink or two before the halftime horn blared.
And so the undermanned Nets were left with one question — beyond “Where the heck is Jason Kidd when you really need him?
