But as Fisher is left to pick up the pieces of his doomed weekend in L.A., he was more willing discuss the development potentially damaging to his reputation as a coach: Why did he miss Knicks practice on Monday, less than a week into training camp and two days after the altercation with Barnes?
Asked directly, Fisher said he was held up by a plane issue.
