The Orlando Magic thought they could handle the best offense in the league, on the road, on Tuesday, but that’s definitely not what happened as the Knicks trounced the Disneylanders, final score of 121-106.
That’s a strong enough beating, but it could have been much, much worse had the Knicks played at maximum effort for the full 48 minutes instead of allowing Orlando to lose by fewer than 37 points so they could advance to the NBA Cup knockout stage while leaving the Celtics on the outside looking in.
