No matter the apology, Knicks backup center Lou Amundson was disappointed in his former Cavaliers teammate Tristan Thompson for his diss at the Knicks journeyman.
Amundson played with Thompson last season before the January fire-sale trade that sent Amundson to New York in the three-team deal that sent J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland.
After Amundson blocked Thompson’s wide-open dunk attempt Friday at the Garden, Thompson said of his four-point, 1-for-4 outing: “Especially when Lou Amundson blocks your shot.
