Newly added New York Knicks’ point Trey Burke only played eight minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, as he scored five points and added one rebound and two assists.
Knicks’ rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina says that the addition of Burke has forced guys to stay sharp.
“Trey is a very good player,’’ Ntilikina said, via the NY Post. “We have three different [type] point guards now. [He] makes the team step up every day and bring something else to the team and every day in practice.”
Again, while Burke didn’t get a lot of minutes, he did add a spark while on the floor.
