Knicks 99, Lakers 95: Scenes from a yucky game with a fine finish

The Knicks' performance Sunday afternoon was decidedly worse than some games they've lost this season, but it also featured their worst opponent so far AND their best execution down the stretch of a close game. Perhaps those last two things are related. We'll take it! Some moments from an ugly win, but a win just the same:

For the second straight game, the Knicks started moving the ball alright, but couldn't get buckets. Jose Calderon ended up with a decent shooting line, but started so cold:

Meanwhile, the Knicks defended Kobe Bryant fine -- Lance Thomas included -- but he got himself a string of his favorite tough buckets through the late first and early second:

Jerian Grant took some outside shots and missed all of them, but his drive-and-kick game was on point, and Langston Galloway stayed super efficient finishing plays:

Galloway, who is good, was EVERYWHERE, man.
