The New York Knicks looked to be shorthanded up front Friday night, with rookie big Mitchell Robinson missing out on the action with a sprained ankle. But the front line held up marvelously against the Pelicans, as the ‘Bockers out-rebounded New Orleans en route to a 106-100 victory.
Enes Kanter faced the unenviable task of checking MVP candidate Anthony Davis, and he more than held his own. Davis scored 15 points on 5-17 shooting 28 minutes, and Kanter countered with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists over the same amount of time.
