Knicks rookie Kevin Knox was helped off the court by teammates and a trainer after being fouled on a fast break and rolling his left ankle late in the first quarter of the Knicks’ Garden contest with Boston.
Knox writhed in agony on the court after Terry Rozier bumped him and he was unable to put weight on it as he was taken off. He went directly to the locker room — likely for X-rays.
Knox, the Knicks lottery pick, coming off a 17-point game in Brooklyn, was playing the third game of his career.
