Kevin Durant’s free-agency decision will come quickly

The world won’t have to wait long to find out where Kevin Durant is going.

Durant will announce his free-agency decision Sunday night, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. NBA free agency officially begins at 6 p.m. Sunday. The report says Durant will announce the move on the Instagram page of “The Boardroom.”

Both the Knicks and Nets have hopes of landing the star in free agency. ESPN previously reported that Durant would have discussions with four teams: The Knicks, Nets, Clippers and Warriors, with whom he spent the past three seasons.

After joining the Warriors in free agency in 2016, Durant and Golden State won two consecutive NBA championships before the Warriors fell to the Raptors in this year’s NBA Finals — during which Durant ruptured his Achilles.
