Knicks coach David Fizdale and Julius Randle talked about New Orleans on Monday, and it wasn’t about beignets.
Fizdale told Randle he had pored over tape from his breakout season with the Pelicans a year ago and assured him he was also bringing the ball upcourt then too.
There’s been a lot of theories about Randle’s slow, turnover-prone start to his Knicks career. Being overused as a point forward has been one charge levied by multiple scouts.
“We actually talked about [New Orleans] today,’’ Randle told The Post before the Knicks hosted the Cavaliers Monday.
