A California federal judge has put a partial gag order on Knicks guard Derrick Rose, his former girlfriend who’s accused him of rape and their attorneys for the duration of an upcoming $21.5 million civil trial over the alleged assault.
Los Angeles Judge Michael Fitzgerald barred the lawyers and their clients from discussing “the character, credibility or reputation of a party” as well as “the strengths or weaknesses of any party’s case.”
Fitzgerald also nixed about inadmissible evidence.
While he said the woman, identified only as Jane Doe in court papers, has to use her real name at trial, he restricted the attorneys from disclosing it outside of court.
