Kentucky coach John Calipari, at the Garden for Saturday’s clash with Seton Hall, weighed in on Knicks rookie Kevin Knox’s early-season struggles — stressing his former Wildcats star was the second-youngest player in the draft and will ultimately succeed in the NBA because of his “multi-dimensional’’ skills.
“I was with his parents last night – they came by the hotel,’’ Calipari said. “I told them it’s a great experience going through ups and downs and (getting) an idea how hard this is (in the NBA).
“He’s got to figure this stuff. I told the Knicks and everybody recruiting — they’re 19, 18, 20, not 25 years old.
