Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek didn’t know what to make of center Joakim Noah’s look at Monday’s practice.
“I thought it was a Halloween costume,’’ Hornacek said.
It’s not. Noah practiced with his left ear completely bandaged up with an array of cotton and tape covering the area. He then added a white headband to the scary ensemble to keep the wrappings in place.
During his bang-up home-opening performance Saturday, Noah took a sharp elbow from Memphis center Marc Gasol and lacerated his ear on the play. His ear needed to be stitched up by Dermabond glue, and he may need to play with one ear concealed.
