Joakim Noah may return from a sprained left ankle for the Knicks on Saturday when they face the Suns at the Garden. Noah has missed the past two games with the injury and coach Jeff Hornacek insisted on not rushing him back.
Hornacek has a far deeper appreciation of the former Defensive Player of the Year than the average Knicks fan.
“Jo has battled some injuries, but that is probably because he plays so hard,” Hornacek said of Noah, who underwent an MRI exam Thursday that revealed the sprain. “You are going to get bumps, bruises, you are going to get sore if you play that hard.
