In the hard-to-believe-this-is-happening-in-the-same-season department, Knicks center Joakim Noah reportedly needs another surgery — this one to repair a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder. The Vertical reported the suspended Noah will need four to six months to rehab. Noah had shoulder surgery last year that cut his Bulls’ season to 29 games.
That season looks like a gem compared to this one — his first as a Knick after signing a four-year, $72 million deal. Noah hasn’t played since February when he sat out seven straight games with a hamstring strain, then was diagnosed with a loose bone in his left knee and had surgery.
