New York Knicks center Joakim Noah has left the team for what is being considered “personal reasons” by the club.
After only playing four minutes this past Tuesday night against the Golden State Warriors, Noah was clearly upset after the game after declining to comment. He likely expected to play more with Kyle O’Quinn out with an injury and wasn’t happy that didn’t.
This means that Noah won’t be available for Thursday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets and Friday’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
“[It’s] for these two games and we’ll see,’’ said Knicks’ head coach Jeff Hornacek, via the NY Post.
