Farewell, Fredette.
Jimmer Fredette will not be re-signed to a second 10-day contract and likely will rejoin the D-League Westchester Knicks for Wednesday’s game against Canton at the Westchester County Center, according to an NBA source.
Fredette’s Knicks’ tenure was a washout, and he only played five minutes of garbage time in two games. He was a DNP in three others and mounted a total of seven points. The upstate Glens Falls sharpshooter was cheered vigorously by the Garden crowd during his brief time on the court, and the fans chanted, “We Want Jimmer,” oftentimes during the games.
