Isola: Answer for Knicks may point to Brandon Jennings

Brandon Jennings was famously passed over in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Knicks, who had their hearts broken and their future fractured when Golden State selected someone named Stephen Curry eighth overall.

Whatever happened to that guy anyway? The Knicks selected ninth. Of course they did. With Tyreke Evans, Ricky Rubio and Curry all off the board, the point guard-starved Knicks selected Arizona power forward Jordan Hill. Jennings went 10th and then picks 17, 18, 19, 21 went this way: Jrue Holiday, Ty Lawson, Jeff Teague and Darren Collison, respectively. Sense a pattern here?

Donnie Walsh is a terrific basketball mind but this was not his finest hour as Knicks president.
