Isiah Thomas has returned to Madison Square Garden.
According to an ESPN report, Thomas has been named president of the Liberty and also will hold an ownership stake in the team.
It’s the latest opportunity afforded Thomas by MSG boss James Dolan.
Thomas previously served a disastrous tenure as the Knicks’ president of basketball operations from 2003 to 2008 and coached the team from 2006 to 2008 following the dismissal of Larry Brown.
Thomas also was implicated for sexually harassing former team executive Anucha Browne Sanders, who received an $11.6 million settlement from the Garden in 2007.
