Look away, Knicks fans.
LeBron James hinted he could have been playing for the Knicks, and the reason it didn’t happen might be Phil Jackson, according to a report.
Following the Lakers’ nail-biting, 108-105 win Monday night against the Heat at the Staples Center, James met with longtime friend Dwyane Wade in likely the last game the two greats will play against each other. Wade, who won three titles with James in South Beach, exchanged jerseys with him at mid-court before James made a startling admission caught by microphones.
“I appreciate you letting it end here,” said Wade, who plans on retirement after this season.
