CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two days after Carmelo Anthony’s observation the Knicks are having more fun this season with a different system, Kristaps Porzingis said one key is head coach Jeff Hornacek is brimming with confidence because he’s running his own stuff.
Porzingis, who missed Anthony’s Garden return Saturday with a sore left knee, is a game-time decision against Charlotte on Monday. He was convinced by the team’s medical staff to sit out the victory because he was still feeling pain in his knee on some post-up moves.
Regardless, the Knicks zipped the ball around in their new, free-flowing offense and hammered Oklahoma City to move to 16-13.
