The NBA has postponed Saturday games in Philadelphia and Washington due to the winter storm hitting the East Coast, and is monitoring the Knicks’ scheduled Saturday night game in Charlotte, according to a source.
The Knicks planned to fly to Charlotte after they host the Clippers on Friday night at the Garden. The Charlotte Airport has been closed Friday after snowfall and ice hit overnight from Winter Storm Jonas. Charlotte officials speculated the airport may not reopen until Saturday.
The Hornets are also out of town, playing Friday night in Orlando. The Hornets plan fly into Charlotte after the game, weather permitting.
