Apparently the mess in the Garden really was too much for actor/comedian Michael Rapaport. The longtime Knicks superfan and Manhattan native looks like he’s really crossed over, sitting courtside Friday night for the Nets’ 126-121 home opening win over Orlando at Barclays Center.
“I’m glad to see Brooklyn doing good,” Rapaport told the Post. After years of calling himself a Knicks fan, he said, “I’m a basketball fan.”
And apparently also a D’Angelo Russell fan, Rapaport clad in a Nets black home Russell jersey. The young guard had 17 points, six assists and eight turnovers Friday night, all team-highs.
