We’re technically more than a quarter of the way through the 2024-25 season (halftime of Tuesday’s win against Orlando is the approximate 25% mark). Still, we’re close enough to that line to make an evaluation with this year chugging along.
The basketball season can simultaneously feel long and short. Long in the way that I cannot believe RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley were Knicks a year ago today, short in that it feels like Karl-Anthony Towns hasn’t already played 20 games as a Knick and that we were just constructing lineups with Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo as integral pieces.
