Hey there, summerfriends. The young New York Knicks begin their march toward the Las Vegas Summer League title on Saturday afternoon with a game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Henceforth, this moment will be known as "Kristaps Begins."
This feels like the first Knicks game which feels important for non-tanking reasons since autumn of 2014...probably because it is. But, please, comrades, let's try not to blow these performances out of proportion. LVSL games are barely organized chaos, with real prospects playing alongside fringe guys doing anything to get noticed, leading to stuff like this:
