While the majority of the Knicks’ season has been labeled as inconsistent, New York has managed to find some semblance of stability in December, going 7-2. The pair of losses to the Pistons and Hawks were, and still are, hard to stomach, but they’ve finally started to take care of business against weaker and often undermanned teams. They defeated the Pelicans by 33 to start the month, then beat the Paolo Banchero-less Magic team by 15, right before they cruised to a 24-point win against the Hornets. And since their last loss, the Knicks have beaten a Magic team sans Banchero and Franz Wagner, dominated the Timberwolves, and narrowly escaped New Orleans with an 11-point victory to avoid what would have been a bad loss.
