Frank Ntilikina was not the magic elixir to end the avalanche of losing.
Ntilikina made just his seventh start at point guard as a Knick on Friday in a 109-99 loss to the Nets at Barclays Center, but it came because of a shoulder injury to Emmanuel Mudiay that will put him out two to three weeks.
Ntilikina now has a crack at showing the Knicks everything he can do. And though he got off to a nice start, with the Knicks controlling the first quarter and even building an 11-point first-half lead, he got into serious foul trouble to stymie his night.
