Frank Ntilikina doesn’t need to score to be effective for New York Knicks

Frank Ntilikina is not a perfect player, but he brings something the New York Knicks desperately need—defense. On Monday night against the Chicago Bulls, Ntilikina didn’t score a single point.

However, his defense and energy helped change the game even though his positive impact won’t show up in the box score.

Head coach David Fizdale leaned on Ntilikina as his backup point guard and called upon the 21-year-old for big minutes in the fourth quarter following an injury to Elfrid Payton.

“His minutes were fantastic,” Fizdale told reporters after the game.
