NEW YORK (WFAN) — Kurt Rambis isn’t popular with Knicks fans, and, according to the New York Daily News’ Frank Isola, he might not be popular with other Knicks coaching candidates, either.
In an interview with WFAN’s Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Tuesday, Isola referenced reports stating that if Rambis isn’t promoted from interim coach to full-time head coach, he could remain on the staff as an “offensive guru” to help coach Phil Jackson’s triangle offense.
“That’s why they hired Kurt in the first place, to be offensive guru for Derek Fisher,” Isola said.
