A former Knicks draft pick was found dead in an SUV in Brooklyn — covered in garbage bags, authorities said.
Michael Wright, 35, was discovered sprawled in the back seat of the vehicle on Tuesday. He had a puncture wound above his left eyebrow, cops said.
Wright’s vehicle had been sitting on E. 16th Street near Avenue I since Sunday, according to police sources. Wright had been reported missing from his Closter, NJ, home by roommates on Sunday.
The college hoop star was born in Chicago and was a forward for the Arizona Wildcats before being drafted by the Knicks in 2001.
