Joakim Noah grew up in New York — but his favorite restaurant as a kid was more for power players than children.
Asked by MSG Networks’ Jill Martin about his favorite restaurant growing up in the Big Apple, Joakim replied, “Trattoria Dell’Arte” — a favorite power spot for showbiz execs near Carnegie Hall that was designed by Milton Glaser. (Oh, and Joakim’s favorite dish? Veal parmigiana.)
Joakim’s dad is former No. 3-ranked tennis star Yannick Noah, and Joakim attended top area schools like Brooklyn’s Poly Prep and New Jersey’s Lawrenceville.
He was interviewed by Martin on his way to Morningside Park in Harlem, where he surprised some kids with Knicks tickets and shirts for an MSG online segment.
