Guess Enes Kanter really wanted to play again — but he sure showed some immediate rust.
The Knicks center, who has been stuck on the bench for four straight games, finally got a shot to play Wednesday night against the Mavericks.
In fact, he was so happy, he kissed the team’s logo at center court when he entered the game — though that surely was, in part, a way of tweaking coach David Fizdale, with whom he’s openly feuded over his lack of playing time.
But the loquacious center’s return didn’t go as he planned, as he promptly shot an airball.
