AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Derrick Rose said it was “an honor’’ for Knicks president Phil Jackson to hold his triangle seminar Thursday and believes the Zen Master is going to do some more sessions before the season’s out.
Rose, who has been lukewarm about the triangle, thinks it was beneficial for Jackson to add a couple of new options to his beloved offensive system and also gave them broader advice on passing technique and cutting.
None of this is a good look for Jeff Hornacek, as it has become clear Jackson feels his first-year coach needs help with this renewed emphasis of the triangle.
