The New York Kncks will be loaded in the back court when Emmanuel Mudiay and Frank Ntilkina come back from their injuries soon. They already have Kadeem Allen, Allonzo Trier, Dennis Smith Jr. in the mix and just signed 6-foot-4 John Jenkins who can play small forward, but is probably a better fit at shooting guard.
Knicks’ head coach David Fizdale told reporters on Wednesday that he’s open to having Mudiay and Smith play together, per Ian Begley of ESPN.
With Ntilikina not likely to be ready this week to return, having Mudiay and Smith play together may not be a bad idea.
